Tronrud
Engineering is the first to offer a fully automatic assembly
machine for the Super Jewel Box(tm) line of CD and DVD
packaging.
This
new machine is capable of handling:
- All 3 sizes of Super Jewel Box; Standard, Plus, and
King (can also run OJB if needed)
- Super Jewel Box Slim
- Q-card insertion
- Security device application (Sensormatic or similar
EAS tag, placed under the tray)
- 2-disc insertion, stacked on one double-disc hub (center
clamping piece)
- 2-disc insertion, placed on both sides of a hinged
tray (flip tray) with a hub on each side of the tray

- Operation speed : 60 ppm
- Magazine capacity : 810 cases, 6 disc spindles (x2)
- PLC : Siemens
- Colour : on customer request
The
Tronrud concept applies state of the art technology,
such as camshaft-connected components in combination
with electronic-cam modules, to control servo and/or
pneumatic driven movements, depending on working distance
and capacity requirements.Using this technology, the
Tronrud machine can be adapted to meet the needs of
practically any customer requirements.
